Olivia´s Doll Closet was born in June 2009. My wife and I were looking for doll clothes for our then 5 year old daughter Olivia. We found many things, but most were not appropriate for her age. We felt like we wanted Barbie to remain her little Princess for as long as we possibly could. This search led us to the idea to locate a source of clothing that was more appropriate. I began to research and soon discovered that there were more families like us that felt like something was missing from the available Barbie Doll clothing line up. We produced our first samples in the spring of 2009, and used our daughter and her friends as inspiration and in June of 2009 we took our first 25 designs to market with Amazon.com. Customers responded very well and we have continued to grow and add new products. In 2010 we added a new clothing line for the American Girl dolls. We have two annual product launches for the American Girl line, a fall/winter line and a spring/summer line it is so much fun trying to out do ourselves. We currently offer over 500 products ranging from formal wear to daily casual wear, shoes, handbags and various items that will enhance Barbie’s life and give hours of fun to little girls everywhere. Keeping little girls excited about playing with Barbie, and keeping Barbie appropriate for young children is our goal and will remain our goal in the future. Olivia is now 7 and is very active in Olivia´s Doll Closet, she test new products and offers much insight into new designs and new products. She often draws beautiful designs and submits them to me. I tell everyone now much we enjoy what we do here at Olivia´s Doll Closet and how we strive to do the very best job we can day in and day out. We always love hearing from our customers and love getting designs sent to us, you never know who the next designer may be. So what started out as an effort to fill our little Olivia´s Doll Closet turned into much more, Olivia´s Doll Closet. SincerelyDon Weeks - President
